We install all types of asphalt shingles. The most common shingles in stock and readily available from suppliers are 3-tab 25 year shingles and laminated architectural shingles A.K.A. dimensional shingles. Most shingles offer a 5-10 year algae resistance built in to them. There have been a lot of changes in 2011 in regards to asphalt shingle warranties. Please look on the appropriate manufacturer’s website to know what warranties are available to each respective shingle.
Class IV Impact Resistant Asphalt Shingles
Impact Resistant Shingles are a premium shingle and come in a variety of patterns including the laminated architectural look, which is the most popular. Some insurance companies will discount their annual premium if you have a class IV impact resistant shingle installed on your roof. It is possible for this product to pay for itself over time. Usually there is a form we fill out that your insurance company provides. Check with your insurance agent or company to find out more about which shingles qualify, any discounts, and forms needed before purchasing this product.

Personally I don’t like the plastic look of most of them. I also believe that it is still an unproven system since many of them are new to the marketplace. Still if that is what you desire then we will gladly install it with a smile. Making the customer happy is priority number 1.
Cedar Shingles and Shakes
We do not currently offer the installation of cedar shingles and shakes in the state of Florida, because of the high humidity; cedar does not last long in Florida and is not recommended.
